Tractebel Energia, headquartered in Florianopolis, Santa Catarina, acquired the OpServices platform, which now controls and documents the entire existing IT infrastructure. The company is the leading private generator of electricity in Brazil – producing about 8% of the total. With 16 hydroelectric and thermoelectric plants in Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso do Sul, Goias and Tocantins, Tractebel has an installed capacity of 6144 MW and is part of the Franco-Belgian group GDF-SUEZ. OpMon keeps track of the critical systems and data traffic between the headquarters, the other units and the plants.
