Banrisul is awarded eFinance’09 with the use of OpMon

Thanks to the adoption of the OpMon, IT Management platform from OpServices, the Rio Grande do Sul Bank (Banrisul) received the eFinance'09 award in the Infrastructure Management category. The case “Faster Operation, Easier Management” detailed the reasons which led Banrisul to choose OpMon following a rigorous bid-based selection process. Among them, the complete adaptability of the product's technical features, which now monitors 720 servers and 20,450 IT services. The cost-benefit was also notable, with projected savings of about US$ 1,400.000,00 dollars in three years.

The award was created in 2002 by the Executivos Financeiros Magazine and is awarded annually to infrastructure and applications solutions in the IT and Telecom area that have contributed towards improving the quality of the services offered by financial institutions. The jury panel was made up of professors with extensive experience in the areas of IT and finance.
